REACT and two local businesses: Architects Fisher Cheng and Artist Hive Studios have been working with Enfield Council on a project to improve the image of Fore Street, our high street.
With funding from The Mayor of London, we are developing a cultural programme to improve the night time economy along Fore Street, Upper Edmonton – for more information, please see a link to the project website: https://www.forestreetforall.com/.
There are plans to host an inaugural prototype event, which will draw upon the idea of ‘First Thursdays’ from the art world and will be an opportunity for local residents to be inspired by a night of cultural events, exhibitions and activities locally. The event will take place across a number of venues on Fore Street, including the Library and Pages & Blendz.
You will soon receive an invitation to REACT general meeting planned for November where we intend to have more information on future plans for our Fore street.
